Girl Stuff

mmm symbolic!

Yesterday as Sarah was suffering with a hangover, I was at home in bed suffering from severe cramps. Yeah, wasn’t I glad I didn’t drink the night before? No use compounding the pain. So while I’m joyously celebrating my womanhood, I suppose I’ll talk about every woman’s staple: the period pantie. When I was younger I, for some reason, assumed that the white cotton pantie was the standard rule for menstrual attire. Why did I think that? Yeah, cotton, most definitely, but white? White is totally unforgiving when it comes to leaks. No, it took me a while to figure out that black was the way to go. Black cotton panties can stay in the rotation much longer since they are much less likely to have unsightly stains, because let’s face it, as much of a miracle product as The Laundress’s Delicate Wash and Stain Bar may be, some foes are simply too mighty to take down… especially when you’re dealing with fresh, virginal, white cotton. God, I’m dumb. So the Eberjey Pima Goddess Low Rider Bikini in Black, Grey, or Espresso are all awesomely dark cotton and are, in my book, highly preferred during “that time”. I’d even say that they’re almost as good as a pint of ice cream, a bottle of wine, and a sappy movie. Yeah. Seriously.
